Signature Project
Dirt Giant was given a blank slate a tall grassy field and dense forest and eight weeks to turn it into what would become the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest venue. What started as raw, undeveloped land required large-scale clearing, trail expansion, and major infrastructure work to make the experience possible. From parking access to miles of forest trails, every inch of the site had to be built from the ground up.
Dirt Giant was entrusted with transforming a tall grassy field and dense forested land into the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest experience. Over the course of eight weeks, our team converted raw terrain into a fully developed, visitor-ready venue designed for high foot traffic and safe public access.
The project began with brush hogging a 3.5-acre parcel to establish a dedicated parking area. Once cleared, we stripped and graded the topsoil to create stable driving lanes capable of supporting vehicle traffic. With the parking infrastructure in place, work shifted into the forested areas.
Inside the woods, Dirt Giant expanded existing trails from approximately 5 feet wide to 15 feet wide, carefully clearing and shaping the path while maintaining the natural environment. The final trail system measured approximately 1.5 miles in total length. To ensure safe and comfortable walking conditions, 10 inches of mulch were laid throughout the trail network, creating a durable and accessible surface for guests.
In addition to land clearing and trail construction, Dirt Giant installed the necessary infrastructure for power and water, delivering utilities to all required points along the trail system. From open field to immersive forest venue, this project showcases Dirt Giant’s ability to manage large-scale land clearing, trail development, and site infrastructure with precision, efficiency, and attention to detail.
